Current Garage Situation:
- Newly constructed home
- Very low ceiling
- Garage neatly painted and trimmed
- Although a “2 car”, home construction limited parking to 1 bay for vehicle (on right side) and small one on left side
- Couple wished to park only 1 car and maintain room for mountain bikes be were unable to due to lack of wall organization
Customer Needs:
- Allow for parking of one car
- Maximize storage and improve aesthetic appearance
- Allow for closed storage and small workspace
- Allow for storage growth and flexibility as needs evolve as children grow
Garage Tailors Intervention:
- Installed new baseboard and coated with floor coating material, including a coving/radius to make the floor to wall seamless.
- Installed grey slatwall around entire perimeter 6’ high to accommodate existing needs and allow for future ones;
- Finished floor and new with polyaspartic coating in a domino flake colour;
- Installed Owner supplied cabinets and workbench consisting of 1 lockers, 2 base cabinets and 3 uppers with polished aluminum workspace. Finished in shark grey to provide quality and elegant look. Great for miscellaneous garden tools, golf clubs, sports equipment, tools and liquids to keep out of sight and touch for children’s safety.
